What is UNFILTERED?

UNFILTERED is YUME’s flagship artist discovery platform designed to spotlight original talent from around the world. It combines digital participation, fan engagement, artist evaluation, and live-stage progression into one global experience.

Stage 1 — Online Heat

Approved artists go live inside the YUME ecosystem, where fans support them through verified listening, sharing, and engagement.

Stage 2 — Global Live Finals

Top artists advance to the live finals, where performance, stage presence, and momentum come together on one global stage.

Who can join.

UNFILTERED is open to emerging artists across genres, regions, and styles, subject to official eligibility, submission standards, and contest rules. All ages, all nationalities, all languages. Unsigned artists only.

General Eligibility

Who May Join

Open to all musical acts (soloists, bands, groups, rappers) across all genres.

Artist Status

Only unsigned artists (not currently published by a major label) may enter.

Age

Open to all ages. Minors (under 18) must submit a Parental/Guardian Consent Form.

Citizenship

Open to all nationalities, but finalists must be present in Manila, Philippines for the live Grand Finals in December 2026 (exact date TBD).

All Expense Paid Travel

All grand finalists’ travel expenses, including airfare, Philippine visa fees (if applicable), local transportation, and accommodation, are included.

Song Entry Requirements

Originality

The song must be 100% original work (lyrics and music). Any entry proven to be a cover or containing unauthorized samples will be disqualified.

Theme

Song should reflect “Unfiltered Truth”—stories of authenticity and human experience.

Duration

Entries must be between 3 and 5 minutes.

Format

One (1) MP3 and a PDF copy of the lyrics.

Video Audition

Live, unedited performance videos (3–5 minutes) are required for screening. The performer’s face and hands must be clearly visible.

Language

Any language, any dialect.

Prize Architecture

The 12 Global Finalists from the six (6) regions must be available and able to travel to the Philippines for the live Grand Finals. If a finalist is unable to travel, the next highest vote-getter per region will be selected. These 12 Global Finalists will receive all-expenses-paid travel and accommodations to the Philippines.

Global Champion

Estimated combined value of $75,000–$150,000, which may include a $10,000 cash prize, album production, global distribution, media promotion, music video production, headline opportunities, and mentorship.

Top 5 Global Finalists

May include EP production, global distribution, professional live performance recording, and placement on the UNFILTERED Official Playlist.

Top 12 Global Finalists

May include a $500 performance stipend, live performance video recording, one-year Premium Artist Verification on YUME, and promotional platform placement.

Regional Winners

May include Regional Champion recognition, YUME playlist placement, and regional concert or showcase opportunities.
